people are dumb

they should learn to let things go after so long.

so, last year I stole a "friend"'s girlfriend. Friend is in quotations because I never really considered the guy a friend. Acquaintance yes. We hung out every now and then, but never just him and I or anything.

Anyways, so yeah, I stole his girlfriend from him. It wasn't all on my shoulders though -- it takes two for that kind of thing to work. She wanted out of her current relationship and I wanted a new relationship with her. It was a mess -- the breakup with her boyfriend and my "friend". We dated and eventually went our seperate ways.

This guy though, has obsessed over me ever since. It's creepy. He can't seem to get over the fact that I ended up with his woman. Sure, I was an ass for taking her, but jesus christ... how childish can a guy be?

The reason I bring this up is because I've recently heard that he's still talking about me. Creepy huh? How pathetic can a guy be, to still obsess over me when it's been over a year since it happened? He needs to move on, get a life, and grow up.

so, i went ahead and made a photoblog

Well, yeah. I know I don't have a digital camera of my own, but I steal my mum's every chance I get.

So, here's the link to my photoblog:

I know, it's a long address, but it works.

i'm redoing my comp

Stripped it all down to nothing but zeroes on the hard drive. Reinstalled Mac OS X. Putting my music back on (being pickier about it this time around). I'm gonna keep it clean this time. It's spring cleaning for my comp.

Something that I forgot to back up were my bookmarks. Ouch. I had lots of fun/important stuff bookmarked. I'm working on building it up again.

I want to start photoblogging but I need a digital camera first. I'll have to work on that.

favorite drink(s)?

Well, I think I've added a new drink to my favorite drinks. It's become quite common for me to explore new drinks and tonight I made a Perfect Martini with a couple of olives in it. Not bad at all. I'm not sure how much I'd like drinking it alone but it tasted pretty darn good with my turkey sammich :)

Hrm. Favorite drinks in order of preference:

1. Cosmopolitan. Yeah, I know. Shaddup. I like 'em.
2. Long Island Ice Tea minus gin, replaced with vodka
3. Greyhound (Grapefruit and vodka. Like a Salty Dog, minus the salt)
4. Perfect martini

Of course, this is just for mixed drinks. Certain wines take a commanding lead over even my beloved cosmo.

more work for me

I've been picking up hours like mad. I'm not sure what I'm up to this week, but I work a LOT.

I saw Arlo and Abby -- friends I hadn't seen in a LONG time. They stopped in to Target while I was working tonight.

And, hm. Trying to think of what I did yesterday. Worked early (8-1) then hung out with Bunny. Last night she started teaching me to swing dance. It was a lot of fun and I really want to learn more. We're going to go to some place on Whitney Way, here in Madison that has swing dancing every Wednesday. I'll have to check with her to find out more about it. It'll be cool. :)

I'm getting really anxious about going to school. I really really really can't wait. I want to be living in Chicago! Hopefully my mum will send in the paperwork tomorrow and I'll be good to go. It's what we're waiting for pretty much. After she gets that sent in everything else can be taken care of.

Tomorrow I'll call them up and see what's going on with it all. I might work at my grandma's farm too. Depends on how I feel later tonight. I need the money to pay off bills. I think I'll do it Tuesday instead though -- I work until 1 at the Pottery Barn, but then I could work from maybe 2:30 or 3ish until about 7 or 8 at night to get $40-50 or so.

Watching Easy Rider right now. I'm trying to watch all of AFI's top 100 movies of the century. With Easy Rider I'll be at 17/100.
