indiana jones rocks my world baby!

Well, I watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade yesterday. Tonight I'm watching Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Tomorrow I *might* watch The Temple of Doom. I never really liked Temple though...

I want to do more on my web page, but I've lost my ambition for the RPG part of it, and the car part of it. What next then? What will I go off on a tangent about and become obsessed with? There's a lot out there. Not so much that I find interesting enough to make a web site about though.

Hrm. I'll have to think on this.

the day after karate

normally I'd be really sore but I was okay today. I definitely need to stretch more though. Last night my legs felt like tree trunks and my arms felt like big clumsy clubs. testing out my arms now -- my shoulders are kinda sore. but still, it's not nearly what I expected.

I'll be going down to bville with schober later on tonight to help him move some stuff and to see his new room. before that i need to check my work schedule, and pick up some laundry detergent along with more bread and some sandwich meat.

karate

Yesterday I made a return to my old Dojo. It was nice to work out again, and to see all the familiar faces who've known you ever since they started karate themselves. It's nice to have a place where you have such friends and seniority (since I'm one of the longest-running and highest ranking students there). I felt so good after playing with weapons and fighting. It's the adrenaline rush -- the natural high.

With any luck I'll be able to get some new recruits from up here in Madison and we could car-pool down to karate in Mineral Point together.

If I get really ambitious maybe I'll see if I can get state champion again this year. It'll be more fun because it'll be harder than before -- more people, more competition. We'll see.

I have all these ideas for my sensei to improve the number of students who come to class. Maybe I'll run them by him and see what he thinks.

and i return

so, after being gone this last weekend for reasons, and in places unknown, I return. yeah, I know. Big whoop. Who cares? Some people do. And I'm glad for that, or I'd not nearly update this as much.

so what's new, you say? a couple of things. first off -- plans for next year. they're up in the air. I'm going to TRY and get into UW-Platteville. I hate Platteville, but it's where my parents want me to go, and it'd be the cheapest option for me in all likelyhood. Plus, it's a UW system, so I'll be able to get into UW-Madison more easily later on. this means I'll have to leave everything here in madison, sadly. I'm still not sure what's going on for next year. It'll depend mainly on whether or not I get into UW-Platteville.

what else is new? well, I'm on spring break. so i have this whole week off. wooowooo. i'm going to try and work more so I have a nice fat paycheck next pay period.

and, on wednesday I'm going to my old karate dojo to see if they're still open. if they are I'm going to start up karate again so I can get my black belt.

hrm. i think that's all that's new for now. this last weekend was great and hopefully i'll have pictures up soon.

ciao!
