rough night

wow. i was really drunk. we had a party over at a friend's place. got there at roughly 11:45 (pm) left at roughly 5:45 (am). It was fun. We played drinking games and otherwise just sat around getting drunk. at maybe 4ish chris passed out (and is now not feeling too well). at the end of the night it was just casey, her friend allison, chris, me, and the host. i was pretty sober so i dropped the girls off at their place, and then headed home. we both called into work, because it was clear that neither of us were in any condition to work in a few hours (me at 10 am and him at 11). So, that was our night.

i still have to go drop off casey's bag that she forgot in my car. then, it's off to steph's. damn valentine's day and the money that i am expected to waste. grrrrrrrr.

Oh. And I might be making a move to LiveJournal.com

It's different, but I'm not sure that it's better.

*shrug*

I'm at home today. I decided not to go to my music theory class as we're essentially relearning everything we learned in band class back in high school, and he doesn't take attendance in that class. And, I'm missing Intro to Drama for my first time. I will be going to my 5:30 sociology class because my teacher there is a hardass.

I can't wait for spring time. I'm so sick of being cooped up. I need to feel a nice cool (not COLD) breeze that isn't dead and lifeless. I can't wait to be able to smell the air again. I think I might end up moving down south a ways because of this. Maybe Missouri, or Kentucky (ha! maaaayyybe) or Virginia or South Carolina. Maybe Florida? I dunno. I like being with my family, but I would like not being essentially confined to living indoors for 4-5 months of the year. And, the salt on the roads is horrible for cars.

I give Schober a hard time about not posting every night, and then here I am not posting for 4 days or whatever. Geeze.

Right now I'm sitting at home, relaxing, watching TV, and trying to solve a problem a friend of a friend is having with his computer. I'll have to go over there at 5 and help him with it. I hope it doesn't take long, but I'm afraid it will. *sigh* I'm not getting paid much, but he's a friend of Turk's so I'll do it.

Monday night was fun. It was guy's night and we all just took it easy and sat around talking, listening to music, and playing video games (more like watching people play video games). At one point we ran for pop, but other than that it was all at home.

I'm meaning to write more articles, but my problem is that I don't have all the knowledge to write what I want. To gain that knowledge it'll pretty much be first-hand experience, which I won't be able to get until it gets warmer. One of the articles I might be able to get done without first-hand experience is junkyard engine identification -- that is, when you're at a junkyard looking through cars for a usable engine, how do you tell how big it is (cubic inches displaced, etc)? And I guess I could write Speeder's Guide to Speeding Part II, but the first one has left a kind of bad taste in my mouth because it's really not very good at all.

Saw my first hockey game last night! Badgers vs UND (North Dakota). Badgers kicked ass 5-2! There were some really cool fights too. I wanna go again to their next game in 2 weeks.

I'm working more and more on my site. I need some ideas for articles to research and write. I'm not feeling that confident about my first article any more. It feels rather conglamorous and mix-matched. I dunno. I'll leave it for now.

Jake's going to call me when he gets into town. We're going to go downtown and walk around for a while. Go to ragstock and check out clothes et al. After that I think I'll head down to my parent's house because we're doing D&D during the day tomorrow. It's the first time in probably a year that we've done it during daylight. Crazy!
